10 Mind-Blowing Facts About GTA 6 Game That Will Blow Your Mind

GTA 6 is coming in 2025, with Rockstar Games taking us back to the sun-soaked streets of Vice City. The reveal of the first official GTA 6 trailer gave us a pretty spectacular look at Leonida, hinting towards some of the wild sights and sounds that the state will have to offer us.

10 Mind-Blowing Facts About GTA 6 Game That Will Blow Your Mind

Are you a fan of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series? If so, get ready to be amazed by these mind-blowing facts about the highly anticipated GTA 6 game. From development secrets to gameplay features, this article will take you on a through some of the most intriguing aspects of this upcoming release.

1. The GTA 6 Map Will Be Huge

The game is rumored to include multiple cities, with Vice City being a primary location. This expanded map is expected to offer diverse environments, including urban areas, countryside, and possibly even other regions beyond the main city. The ambition for a larger map aligns with Rockstar Games' trend of creating increasingly detailed and vast open worlds in their titles.

2. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S confirmed

Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is expected to be available on the latest generation of consoles, specifically the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It is also highly likely that the game will be released for PC, although this might occur after the initial console release, as has been the case with previous Rockstar Games titles.

3. Multiple Playable Characters

Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is expected to feature multiple playable characters, similar to GTA V. Although specific details have not been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, leaks and reports suggest that the game will include at least two main characters, potentially a male and a female protagonist. This dual-character approach could offer a varied and dynamic storyline, allowing players to experience different perspectives and missions throughout the game. However, until Rockstar provides official information, these details remain speculative.

4.Several Real-Life Viral Moments

The Florida man meme is resurging again, just as a result of the GTA 6 trailer. While it's obvious that a lot of the moments captured in the minute-and-a-half trailer are based loosely on true viral events, the amount of detail that went into replicating these moments is pretty impressive. In fact, there are several real-live viral references in the GTA 6 trailer. From a gator being fished from a pool to an out-of-control neighbor wielding two hammers, much of the trailer was based on reality.

5.NPC AI Will Be Vastly Improved

The beach scene in the GTA 6 trailer was perhaps the most telling regarding the quality of NPC AI in the upcoming title. Characters on the beach can be seen doing a variety of different things, like putting on sun tan lotion, having conversations, and even taking photos without someone's consent.

6. Playing as the Cops

Now this would be something completely different. But big risks yield big rewards. It’s traditional for “GTA” protagonists to be criminals. But what if Rockstar switched it up and presented fans with a protagonist belonging to the police force? They don’t even have to be upstanding officers, as a corrupt and violent protagonist like Alonzo Harris from “Training Day” would nail the balance between unique police work and typical “GTA” criminality. This could work especially well if Rockstar returns to the multiple protagonists mechanic, as one could be a criminal and the other a police officer (whether corrupt or not) trying to catch them. It would be “Heat” in video game form! Now how awesome would that be?

7.Create Your Own Character

Throughout the entire “GTA” experience, Rockstar has provided fans with a pre-set protagonist. “GTA Online” experimented with this via a “create your own character” mechanic, but it resulted in a bland protagonist. Unfortunately, that is often how these mechanics work. But that doesn’t have to be the case. It’s possible to have a pre-recorded set of lines but let the player customize the physical design of their character. The “character” remains the same, but their look is unique to each individual player. This could also work in tandem with the rumored RPG elements, as dialogue options and skill trees could prove an interesting way for players to customize their character to some degree.

8.Destructible Environments

If there’s one disappointing thing about the “GTA” series, it’s the rather empty open worlds. While massive and superbly detailed, the interaction level proves somewhat disappointing. So how amazing would it be to see destructible environments? Now, we don’t need “Battlefield” levels here with entire skyscrapers crumbling to the ground. But there has supposedly been some talk of more detailed environmental damage, which we assume includes bullet holes, broken windows, burn marks, and maybe even chunks blown out of buildings (if we’re being greedy). How cool would it be to return to the scene of a shootout and see all the environmental carnage you left behind?

9.Age and growth

Between GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar managed to develop a system to show the character aging. It’s usually seen in beard and hair growth in the main characters. This system has been noticed somewhat in the video leaks we’ve seen. As these characters to naturally age over days, it makes sense to show this visually.

10.Improved AI

There are several instances of possible improved AI behaviours; in the Waffle robbery video we see police AI adjust their height by crouching or standing, depending on the environment in front of them. They’re also seen lifting their guns up above the roof of a car to get a better aim. For NPCs, it’s noted that they behave more like a player might, rather than existing on a programmed track. They will enter buildings and persist inside, they will also travel in groups and converse, much like we saw in Red Dead Redemption 2.
