Today, Apple unveiled Apple Intelligence, a personal intelligence system for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac that delivers exceptionally relevant and helpful intelligence by fusing the power of generative models with individual context.

Apple Intelligence

The deep integration of Apple Intelligence is evident in macOS Sequoia, iPadOS 18, and iOS 18. It makes use of the capabilities of Apple silicon to simplify and expedite daily chores by understanding and producing language and graphics, executing actions across apps, and drawing on personal context.

With the ability to expand and flex compute power between on-device processing and bigger, server-based models that operate on dedicated Apple silicon servers, Apple establishes a new standard for privacy in AI with Private Cloud Compute.

Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, stated, "Apple Intelligence will change what users can do with our products and what our products can do for our users." "Our innovative method delivers genuinely useful intelligence by fusing generative AI with the individual context of the user. Additionally, it can access that data in a way that is totally secure and private, enabling users to accomplish the tasks that are most important to them. We are eager for people to see what AI is capable of, as only Apple can provide it.

With Apple Intelligence, people may write better and communicate more successfully in new and creative ways. With the brand-new system-wide Writing Tools included in Mail, Notes, Pages, and third-party apps, users can revise, proofread, and summarize content almost anywhere they write on iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.

Writing Tools give users more confidence in their writing, whether they are organizing their class notes, making sure a blog piece reads correctly, or crafting the ideal email.

Apple Intelligence's Rewrite feature lets users select from multiple drafts of their writing and modify the tone to fit the intended readership and task. Rewrite assists in crafting the ideal words for any given situation, whether it's polishing a cover letter or bringing humor and originality to a party invitation. Check for errors in grammar, word choice, and sentence structure. Also, make change suggestions and provide justifications so that users may easily examine and approve them.

Users can get Apple Intelligence for free, and it will be accessible in beta this autumn in U.S. English on iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. Over the course of the following year, a few features, software platforms, and more languages will be released. With Siri and the device language set to U.S. English, Apple Intelligence will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad, and Mac with M1 and later.
